41″ Musha Hand Forged Blue ‘Kaze’ (Wind) Samurai Sword

From the Musha Collection comes this intricately hand forged “Kaze” (Wind) Katana. The Full tang 1045 high carbon steel makes this a resilient katana that is sharp right out of the box. The tsuba depicts blowing wind. Just as a samurai, a wind can be a warm summer breeze or it can be devastating and unstoppable as a tornado. The samurai can be calm during peacetime but when he is needed for battle they will fight to defend what they believe to be right.

The integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as blood grooves, but that is a common misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to helps reduce the weight of the katana, it actually has nothing to do with channeling the blood. Making the Katana lighter enables the user to weld the katana smoother and puts less stress on the hands. Not to mention it benefits some advance cutting techniques that requires the katana to change direction rapidly.

All Musha swords are able to be fully disassembled. Maru Gata style Tusba, Fuchi, Kashira all can be swapped out for a different set. Real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.

OVERSIZE ITEM

This product is an oversize item and as such cannot be transported via Australia Post.

Option 1) For over-sized products, at time of check-out on our website, the option for Freight will be automatically set at “Shipping Quote”. On receipt of your order, we will request a Quote from a Shipping/Courier Company.  We will then contact you directly via email or phone with the Shipping/Courier Quote amount. If the Quote amount is agreeable, we will contact you for payment separately for the Shipping/Courier amount.  If the quote is not agreeable we will organise a refund of the product purchased.

Option 2) Prior to placing your order, contact us via email warrior@warrioraustralia.com.au or phone (08) 9258 9714 (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm WST) so we can organise a shipping/freight quote through a courier/shipping company.

Combined Orders:  For combined orders of both normal sized products and over-sized products, there will be an automatic calculation for an Australia Post parcel which is for the normal sized products only. The Purchaser will still be contacted regarding a separate Shipping/Courier cost for the over-sized product.
