41″ Musha Hand Forged Shinryu Flying Dragon Samurai Sword

From the Musha Collection comes this intricately hand-forged Shinryu Katana, which has a tsuba that depicts Shinryu the dragon of the skies. The dragon is known to control the wind, clouds, and the rain to keep balance for all life. It is praised for bringing balanced weather throughout Japan, but when angered it summoned thunderstorms. The katana has a full-tang, 1045 high carbon steel blade that is resilient and sharp right out of the box.  . Featuring a flying dragon hidden in cloud design tsuba with all the other fittings  finished in black metal.  Beneath the black cotton tsuka-ito wrapping are two  menuki over white rayskin. The saya is gloss black. It comes with a black cotton sageo. The sword and saya come within a black cloth sword bag.  All Musha blades are razor sharp and ready to cut.   Hand forged and full tang, qualities that budget minded swordsmen look for in a samurai sword.
